BE CAREFUL WHEN LISTENING TO LABELS
Virgin, Remy, Factory, Human, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Caucasian' – these are just a few of the many different labels associated with hair extensions. So how do you know which option you should choose?
While many suppliers use top of the range terminology such as ‘Virgin’, ‘Remy’ or ‘Russian’, it can be hard to know what exactly you’re paying for.
Factories chemically treat and process the hair to make you believe it is the product you are looking for.
In fact, this hair is simply Chinese hair masked with a label you – the consumer – wants to hear. As hair from Chinese or Indian origins is almost always black, this means that it needs to be bleached and heavily processed to achieve any other colours. While beautiful in it's own right, it's not what you- the consumer- is expecting.
Simply put, all of these chemicals compromises the health and integrity of the hair – which is why these type of extensions will never give you the results you’re looking for.

As factory hair is often collected from multiple donors, the cuticles don’t face in the same direction – so instead of each strand sliding past each other, they get caught and begin to tangle.
This is why it’s so important to choose genuine virgin hair that is collected from a single donor – known as Remy hair extensions.
These are the only type of extensions that will continue to look and feel amazing in the years to come, which is precisely why this is the only product offered by LDL.
