Here at LDL, the process of getting hair extensions might be a bit different to what you’ve seen or experienced elsewhere. Our wefts don’t come in a packet, and you can’t simply buy them pre-made and ready to install. Because all our extensions are custom made, we require each potential client to attend a consultation in our salon.

HOW SHOULD I WEAR MY HAIR?
When you come to your consultation, you should have your hair washed and dried naturally. If you’re currently wearing extensions, don’t worry about removing them! We will be able to assess your hair even while they’re in.
What to bring with you
The only thing you really need to bring with you to your consultation is photos of what you want your hair to look like. You should find images that reflect the thickness, style, length and colour that you want your hair to be. We will be consulting not only for the custom LDL extensions you want, but the overall look you’re going for.
Other than this, you should come to your consultation with all the questions you have in that pretty little head of yours. We love talking about hair and there is no such thing as a stupid question in our books. The more you know about our product, the more you will love it!
What happens during the consultation?
Many people ask us why a consultation is necessary in order to get custom LDL wefts. The answer to that is simple; because we make each weft just for you, we must first understand what you need and want in order for them to be perfect.
The first thing to know is that your consultation is an hour-long. It’s important to show up on time, as being late will prevent us from being able to get all the information we need. During this time, we will take measurements of your head and collate all the information we need to customise wefts just for you.
Once we’ve done this, we show you our amazing Virgin ponytails. This is when you get to pick up hair you like and choose a ponytail to be made into your custom wefts. We will let you why this hair is the best of the best as we go, as the quality is truly second to none!
After picking your hair out and taking your measurements, we will provide you with a quote. Our pricing is made up of the amount of hair required, the length, the colour of the hair and how many wefts are required to provide you with the look you’re dreaming of. We will also provide a quote for the installation cost and the cost of any colour appointment that may be required upon installation.
Are there payment plans available?
We understand that not everyone is in the position to pay for their hair up-front. This is why we give all our clients the option of paying off their hair over time. The way this works is we put aside the ponytails you chose during your consultation while you make regular payments. Then, once the hair is paid off, you simply give us a call to book your installation appointment and we will begin to create your gorgeous new wefts!
How long will I have to wait for my wefts to be made?
Although each and every one of our wefts are custom created in-house, you won’t have to wait weeks or months for them to be made. We will get working on your extensions immediately after your hair is paid in full. Depending on how many wefts we’re making for you, the process can take anywhere between 4hrs to 2 days. Once they are made, we book you an installation appointment within 1 week.
